Liam Penn Supper Club

About the Supper Club...

Liam Penn is a Michelin trained plant-based chef that executes elabouate fine dining tasting menus.

Previously a chef for celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal at the 3 Michelin star restaurant ‘The Fat Duck’; celebrity chef Simon Rogan at the now 3 Michelin star restaurant ‘L’enclume’ and Andrew Dargue at the highly acclaimed vegetarian restaurant ‘Vanilla Black’ in London.

Liam takes Plant Based fine dining to new levels with a range of experimental, traditional and modernist techniques to create theatre and present the perfection of his ingredients. Liams cooking is an expression of passion, flair and enthusiasm for food as an art form through unique and elaborate tasting menus. Reviews of his cooking have been featured in the Sunday Times and the Financial Times. 

 

A 9 course, elaborate plant-based Spring tasting menu curated by Michelin trained chef Liam Penn. The evening will be set on a communal table inside Starlings in Clifton. With dishes like Goldilocks Porridge and an Edible birds nest. You're in for a suprise...

Buskers Banquet x Little Feast 

Buskers Banquet provide intimate supper clubs with musical after dinner performances. It has boomed in Bristol and is sure to be a great night. Little Feast are the guest chefs and they're cooking with the likes of wild boar, fermented plums and truffled polenta.

Woei appeared on MasterChef and now is cooking his delicious Malaysian food for Bristol. Not to miss!

A festive three course meal with canapés from last years MasterChef quarter finalist. Sure to be fun, festive and delicious.

A.P. Chef Supper Club 

Ali Pumfrey brings together seasonal ingredients using delicious techniques to make food for your soul. Her Supper clubs are light hearted, tasty and often lively with the help of DJ Max Rad.

Mulebird Supper Club 

Ben a.k.a 'Mulebird' creates modern Malaysian food with an exciting twist in his fun, relaxed Supper Clubs. This one was a massive hit and he is lining up another for later this year at Starlings.

Rino Di Donato Supper Club  

An exciting twist of Italian Japanese fusion cooking. This 7 course tasting menu, pushing the boundaries of exciting and bold flavours, was one of the best we've had. Rino has got more supper clubs at Starlings booked in so be sure to keep your eyes peeled.

Basement 17 Tacos Supper Club 

Some of the most exciting Mexican food in Bristol came to Starlings this Spring. An explosion of Central American flavours across series of exciting courses had our taste buds tingling.

FatRice Malaysian pop-up restaurant

FatRice has a massive following in Bristol and his pop-up was hugely popular. Tasty authentic Malaysian food with the likes of salt fish, pork belly and Malaysian chicken rice all making an appearance.
